Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping Policy
Processing Time:
- Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive a notification once your order has shipped, along with tracking information if applicable.
Shipping Methods:
- Shipping cost for artworks includes PACK & SEND’s warranty for loss or damage in transit. This is a very good policy providing cover independent of carriers. Should customers experience a need to make a claim for loss or damage PACK & SEND Lower Hutt can support customers through the claim process.
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
International Shipping:
- We currently offer international shipping to select countries. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply upon arrival.
- Please note that international shipping times may vary depending on your location, and customs processing can sometimes cause delays.
Packaging:
- All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in excellent condition. We use professional packing materials to protect your piece during transit, including padded envelopes, custom boxes, and protective wrapping.
Delivery Times:
- Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method chosen. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout. Please allow additional time for processing during peak periods (e.g., holidays).
Returns and Exchanges
Return Eligibility:
- We take great pride in the artwork we offer and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
- All returns must be in original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.
- Please note that we do not accept returns for custom or commissioned artwork unless it arrives damaged or defective.
How to Return:
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at lorraine@newzealandandmaoriart.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Once approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged.
Refunds:
- Upon receiving your returned item, we will inspect the artwork to ensure it meets our return criteria.
- If eligible, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to an error on our part or a damaged item.
Damaged or Defective Items:
- In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage.

Exchanges:
- We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different piece, we recommend returning your original purchase and placing a new order.
