A thematic work on the extinction of species that are linked to the arrival and occupation of
New Zealand’s islands by humans. As a little twist, content features an interpretation of a
creature inspired by ancient rock drawings that were made by some of the earliest human
inhabitants in the South Island. In a way, they too have become ‘extinct’.
