Bruce Luxford
Bruce Luxford is a self taught visual artist working full time out of his own studio in Seatoun, Wellington.
Bruce has a background working in Advertising Agencies and was self employed in allied activities, including visual content for marketing campaigns and promotions. He is now working mostly in oils on canvas.
As an observer of behaviour and events he is ‘drawn’ to figurative, surrealistic work with equivocal content that may encourage conversation. There is also a journey, utilising the familiar and unfamiliar within the boundless fields of scale, space and illusion.
Works have sold to NZ buyers as well as to collectors in the USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.
